Q: What is climate control and do I need it?

A: A climate controlled storage facility is a temperature controlled space. It typically keeps the temperature between 55 and 80 degrees, this is for the protection against extreme temperatures and seasonal changes. Climate controlled facilities are beneficial and necessary for the storage of furniture, wood products, antiques, electronics, paper file storage, photographs, pharmaceuticals, and much more.

Q: Do you have moving equipment on site?

A: Taylor Ultra Storage has several types of moving equipment free for use by our tenants within the facility such as: hand trucks, flat beds, dollies, and ramps for cars. This equipment makes it super easy for tenants to move throughout the facility and within the storage space.

Q: What are the office hours and the hours for tenant access to individual units?

A: Taylor Ultra Storage tenants have secure access to the facility 7 days a week, 365 days a year from 7:00AM to 10:00PM. 24 Hour access is available to commercial tenants. The office is open Monday through Friday 9:00AM to 5:00PM and Saturday 9:00AM to 3:00PM. Office hours on Sunday are by appointment only.

Q: Are the contents of my storage unit insured?

A: Taylor Ultra Storage does not insure the goods that you store in the unit. Most times a tenant can be covered under their already existing homeowners or renters insurance policy. We advise each tenant that we do not insure their contents and request that they contact their current insurance carrier to see about their storage unit contents. If they do not currently have an insurance carrier we can get them in touch with a local insurance agency for the proper coverage.

Q: What are the length of the leases?

A: Taylor Ultra Storage does not have a “required” lease period; however, we can write a lease for as short as one month or unknown term as ones needs often change. We will work with the tenant on what best fits there needs and wants.

Q: Does Taylor Ultra Storage pro-rate the rent depending upon the move in date?

A: Yes. Taylor Ultra Storage does pro-rate the first month if you move in after the 1st of the month. The move out month, however, is not pro-rated.

Q: Are there any security deposits that are required upon lease signing?

A: No. Taylor Ultra Storage does not charge a security deposit to our tenants.

Q: What forms of payment does Taylor Ultra Storage accept?

A: We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover as well as personal checks, money orders, and bank checks. We can also set our tenants up on automatic monthly withdrawals for easy, peace of mind bill pay.

Q: Does Taylor Ultra Storage supply a lock or does the tenant supply their own?

A: Taylor Ultra Storage will supply all tenants with a specialized lock and 2 keys for a minimal charge. Upon move out, when the lock and keys are returned in working condition, a refund will be mailed to the tenant.

Q: What are the security features Taylor Ultra Storage has in place?

A: Taylor Ultra Storage offers the following security features to our tenants: State of the art security including video monitoring as well as recordings, personalized key-codes for secure tenant access, well lit corridors and parking areas. Each unit is individually door alarmed and all activity in the units is digitally monitored via computer. Taylor Ultra Storage prides itself at offering only the highest of quality service to all tenants of the facility at all times.
